PRESS RELEASE BENEFIT: The Focus Group Meeting took place in Kozani.

Yesterday, the “Focus Group Meeting” organized by the Cluster of Bioeconomy & Environment of Western Macedonia – CLUBE took place at the Kovendareio Municipal Library in Kozani, as part of the implementation of the “BENEFIT” project, which focuses on energy efficiency in public buildings.

We warmly thank our speakers for their interesting presentations and the demonstration of the practical implementation of the project, which led to a constructive discussion. Ms. Konstantia Dimitrakoudi, Project Technical Coordinator from the Ministry of Interior, presented the BENEFIT project and the pilot energy upgrade application that was carried out in the Administration Building in Thessaloniki. Additionally, Ms. Alice Korovesi, Managing Director of INZEB, presented smart tools for energy-efficient buildings. The discussion also highlighted the importance of mapping public buildings and Kozani’s goal to become a Climate-Neutral and Smart city by 2030.

The BENEFIT project is co-funded by the European Union and national funds of the participating countries within the framework of the Interreg IPA-CBC Programme “Greece – Republic of North Macedonia”.
